First of all Adam sent an email about two bills in WA that are about to die in committee.

The following is a list of addresses for supporters of Marijuana Decrim in
WA State. I have e-mails form these folks stating their support OR they
have vote for one of our decrim bills ( HB1177 / SB5615) OR they have
sponsored one of those bills
Take the time to e-mail them and say thanks for their support.
While you have their attention, Ask them to Sponsor one of the bills, start conversations in the hall.
Tell them they don’t need to be afraid of Marijuana Law reform, We the people support them in Pushing the topic.

Is Reverend Bud speaking prophecy back in the 90’s?

Back in 1991, this brother “Reverend Bud” was on some right wing nut job talk show host (obviously not as successful as some of these guys, but he has all of the key ingredients).   This “Wally George” fella is like Rush Limbaugh’s wanna be side-kick.

Check this out:

This Wally guy tried to make a fool out of “Reverend Bud” by telling him that we won the Iraq war, and that “Reverend Bud” was wrong about Iraq turning into another Vietnam.

Sorry Wally, Iraq has been another Vietnam since 1990, and it still is bucko!

Does this mean that Rev. Bud is speaking in prophecy?   That’s more of an accurate prophecy than any of these “modern day prophets” of today.   I can’t recall anything that some modern day prophet has been right on.  Some of these “modern day prophets” have given up on prophecy all together!
But not Reverend Bud!  How could he have been so right so long ago?   Hmmm..

Is legalization bad for our kids?

To me, it seems like the strongest voices and the most well organized legalization groups are asking for “The legalization of marijuana for responsible adults”.. That is the common theme of the legalization movement.
NOT to legalize it for children, not to encourage teens to use, or children to use. It is to get it out of the hands of the black market for these reasons.

1. To stop arresting people for a victimless crime
2. To relieve the burden that prohibition put on our treasury, our tax payers, and our friends and family who get their life wreck based solely on prohibition. When someone gets a marijuana charge on their record, student loans, military, and many jobs are off-limits after getting such a charge. Even teens, like me when I was 19. Got busted for possessing a harmless plant (marijuana), and I got rejected for the military and many college benefits.
3. To get it out of the black market so cartels and drug dealers arent getting rich. Selling it in a legal market, destroys the black market, similar to prohibition in the 30’s. Ending prohibition, destroyed much of the mafia’s activities.
4. To get it out of the hands of children, by putting it into a similar environment as a liquor store. No ID, no buds, 18+ only.

More kids have access to marijuana an illegal drug, than they do to alcohol which is a legal drug, says a recent government survey. Why? Because a black market provides to children, and a legal market doesn’t.

This clip is from “HIGH The True Tale of American Marijuana

http://www.truehigh.com/

And this is a childrens book that is spoken about on that video.  It is basically a way to talk to kids about marijuana, from a non-reefer madness approach.  The book is called “It’s Just a Plant” by Ricardo Cortes.    (see this video, to hear some of the book read)

Its just a plant

That term “It’s Just a Plant” can also be found in the movie  “Humboldt County”.    That is a really good show!

So no, I don’t think that marijuana legalization is bad for kids.  I think it’s going to be much like alcohol legalization, and I truly believe it will be LESS available to children in a legal market for adults.

If you disagree, feel free to comment.

Cannabis can save our economy

There is no better time to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana!

Cannabis CAN save our world.  Our local and global economies will flourish with the benefits of cannabis, and cannabis tax dollars!

How does 50 billion a year effect our economy?  It will definitely help!

When the government stops arresting 800,000 people a year for victimless marijuana possession, they won’t have to keep building new prisons.  They won’t have to pay for extra meals 3 times a day for these inmates in the prisons.  They can move the work from enforcement and punishment of a stupid law, and start REBUILDING our highways, biways and bridges!!

The tax revenue pales in comparison to the money we will save when we no longer have to enforce and punish people for this idiotic law!

[lang_en]Spread the word (herb)! X Cannabis is born. A new seed in the effort to ‘overgrow the government’.
We are forming more support for the effort to legalize marijuana!

This is after all a democratic world that we live in, and the voice of the people will be heard!

Ryan’s story goes like this:

After years of struggling with the the unjust laws in the United States, Ryan Thompson the founder of xCannabis.com has once again picked up the cause of ending prohibition.
As a teen and young adult, Ryan spent a good deal of his life fighting unjust legal persecution and refused to let the government ruin his life.

Ryan, despite a serious financial burden from legal fees and time in jail became a college student and while in school started a business.
After starting his first business doing on-demand technicial support, Ryan with the support of his awesome wife Kimi Thompson started a series of other businesses. Most of these businesses became successful, and now with thier free time Ryan and Kimi has picked up the cause of ending prohibition.

The first step is this website, xCannabis.com. This will become the means in which us a xCannabis.com will be able to pursue the cause and inform our friends, family and fellow Americans about the benefits of cannabis, and about the horrible side-effects on this so-called “war on drugs”.

Please feel free to contribue your questions, your knowlege and your photos! We really need everyone’s help in this cause!

We will be offering promotions and contests to promote this cause. Please stay tuned for our holiday events as well as our cannabis celebrations where we will give away cannabis related prizes and awards.

If you have any questions or comments for the management, please write Ryan Thompson at: info@xcannabis.com

Cheers!
