Now check this story out. It starts out seeming like a regular drug bust. It ends up being police corruption.
These police in California were attempting to steal this man’s property, he had no drugs. They wanted to seize his assets and sell them at auction at the profit of the police department.
This isn’t hearsay, this evidence was confirmed and ruled upon in a court of law, the widow of the man that the police killed got a settlement from the police, and the claim on their land was dropped. But at what cost? A human life and the end of freedom as we knew it!
Civil Asset Forfeiture is just one of many police activities which violates the rights of the people that they are hired to serve!
We started Police Watch, to get the cameras pointed at our corrupt public servants to keep them in check!
