H.R. 2306: To limit the application of Federal laws to the distribution and consumption of marihuana, and for other purposes.

The best way hands down to end prohibition is to head the problem head first, at the federal level.
Everyone knows that no matter what we do on a state level, the feds still have supremacy over state law in this regards via Article VI of the constitution.
While it’s a bit disappointing that it looks like I-1149 will not succeed in Washington this year, however congratulations to Washington activists for informing a good portion of the population about the benefits of cannabis, and thanks for standing up to the challenge of representing a very honorable cause to regain freedom and liberty in WA.

Now on to the next phase of liberation.   Please review the text of H.R. 2306.
We will be printing t-shirts to promote this, as well as we are sending some donations to the Ron Paul campaign this year.

H.R. 2306: To limit the application of Federal laws to the distribution and consumption of marihuana, and for other purposes.

Amends the Controlled Substances Act so that marijuana would no longer be considered a scheduled drug, allowing states to establish their own laws and regulations. All federal penalties for production, distribution and possession of the drug would be repealed. The only federal authority that would remain would be prevention of marijuana traveling over state borders in violation of the individual states’ laws.
