Police violate the will of the people (and state law) in Spokane
A three month investigation of CHANGE dispensary in Spokane WA, has resulted in the Spokane police department to violate state law, and the will of the people.
Washington state law says that medical marijuana patients can get their marijuana from a caregiver. The clause is that the caregiver can only dispense medicine to one patient at a time.
In compliance with state law, CHANGE dispensary used a strict policy of serving only one patient at a time. They have a waiting room, and a dispensing area. In the dispensing room only one patient is allow to be served at a time. CHANGE took careful records of each sale made, what time the sale took place, and what the purchase was and for how much money.
I know, I was a regular client of CHANGE.
This is from the WA State Department of Health:
“A designated provider must be at least 18 years old and must be designated in writing by the qualifying patient. A designated provider can only be a provider for one patient at any one time.”

How else are patients going to get medicine? Go to the black market? If the police want to strengthen the black market, thats just exactly what they have done by shutting down these legal, taxed and regulated medicine providers!
