I wanted to just give a brief update, and I will add more news and updates at a later time when I have less distractions.

This is Ryan the admin for xCannabis.com.  This website had been down since the end of October, because I had some serious events change in my life.   In May I was in a car accident with a drunk driver.  I have had several surgeries since, and I have several more to go by the looks of things.   So in that time I was out of work.  In my personal business, I have not been able to accept any work between May and October.   I ended up having to rent a house on top of my new mortgage because I was not in the physical condition that I needed to be in to fix our new house up prior to winter.
So I downsized the server which was costing me over $200 per month (with no financial return).   I went from a huge dedicated server lease to a tiny VPS server to reduce costs.   However this website had grown to over 22 Gigabytes in size and wouldn't fit on the new VPS server.  So I had to switch over to a drupal site with none of the archives from this site on it for awhile.

In the time that the website was down, I tinkered with the database and I reduced the size of the site from 22 Gigabytes to less than 600 Megabytes.  Huge improvement!  The speed in which the website loads is better as well, even though there are less resources on this new server.

In that time we have started a new print newspaper @  http://www.clovisstar.com for New England, on top of the one that we have in circulation in California.   So far there is no current monetization of these publications, we are just trying to spread the word about freedom.   Reducing the cost of the server has allow for this to happen.

Since the site has been offline, I have also added several new Youtube Videos, and I have updated our wordpress site @  http://xcannabis.wordpress.com

I have set up some redundancy.  If I ever lose this domain due to financial issues, death or forgetfulness.  Then I will have Youtube, and the Wordpress site as a place where my archives are.   Please note these locations and bookmark them  (Press CTRL-D in most browsers)

A lot has happened since October.   Portland Maine decriminalized 2 ounces of cannabis possession, many other states have gotten on board with medical marijuana, and cannabis stock prices have saw some mighty gains since Colorado opened up cannabis retail stores.  Oh, and our president is still a jackass!

Our forums are open again, the meme generator is back up and running, and most everything has returned to normal.  If you see any problems here, please post a comment and let me know.
